Hello Everyone

This is Brian, Jennifer's husband. It is with a heavy heart and much sorrow that I am typing this. Jennifer fought a warriors fight for almost 4 years to the day. Her body and spirit had enough, and last Tuesday, my wife and best friend passed away peacefully at home. In typical Jenn fashion she requested a last meal to be a lobster tail and a margarita. She was able to see the babies and I was at her side as she took her last breath.

In the four years we were married we didn't waist time on petty squabbles. She wanted to live her hardest everyday. My wife is my hero. I'm so...

Celebrate the Little Victories

I've survived my 10th surgery! I'm happy to be home before the new year. I have to continue chemotherapy, but I'm still grateful to be given

that option. I wish there was a cure for this disease. I know that many families have been devastated by cancer one way or another. I wish I could help alleviate the fear and the worries. I have come across some amazing people who have supported us since the beginning of this journey. I will be saying thank you until my last breath. I've added some photos of my family to share with all of you. Where there is God there is hope. I honestly believe in...

Little Miracles

Our daughter, Isabella, was born on August 30, 2016. She'll be in the NICU for the next few weeks. Cedars-Sinai staff have been amazing! Dylan is growing up so fast. I can't wait to get our first family photo. I'll most likely start treatment in the next week or so. I would like to thank all of you for your prayers. Please continue to lift my spirits as my family and I go thru this battle again.

Checking In!

Hi everyone! Just a quick update. We'll be checking into the hospital today in preparation for our baby girl's delivery tomorrow at 29 weeks of gestation via repeat C-section delivery. I've been trying my best to grow her the last few weeks so she and I can fight thru together. Shortly after this recovery I'll be restarting chemo treatments, which I've already restarted at the beginning of this month. I'll be given another new drug which I can take now that the baby will be safely delivered. Please continue to lift our spirits by praying for our little family. Our baby will be spending the...

Hugs and Prayers Needed

Hello everyone. May I humbly request virtual hugs and some strong prayers for me, my 23 week unborn baby girl, my husband, and my family? I'm not courageous enough to go into detail at this time, but I needed to write this entry as an outlet. I need some serious prayer angels out there. May God have mercy on us and our time of need. I ask that for those who are in direct contact with us, please know that having to explain the situation is difficult. So this is the not the time to probe for answers as we are figuring things out day by day. Just know that we love and appreciate the prayers...

Hi everyone!

I know it's been awhile and so much as happened this past year. I had an angiosarcoma reoccurrence this past July just shortly after I had Dylan. I had surgery and underwent another 6 weeks of radiation. I'm very blessed I was able to have my baby boy to take care of... it really helped distract me from my own health issues. During that time, I had many family members and friends help me on my road to recovery. I had an 8 month hiatus and returned to work end of January. Now, I've got a very happy, active 10 month old. I thank God everyday for giving me such a good life. Cancer is a huge...

Finding a balance between happiness and your worries

I can't believe I'm a mom! My son, Dylan, is now a month old. My body's been thru the ringer the past 3 years, but I continue to pray everyday for God's many blessings. I still have CT scans every 4 months. I still hold my breath evertime I go. The queasiness just never goes away. Now, I've got a complete family to think about. It's amazing how much stamina and resilience a lot of cancer fighters and survivors have. Granted, you're really only given two choices: fight back or give up. Sometimes you teeter in between. Overall, It's been a humbling experience. I can't even begin to tell you...
