Weave the World Together is excited to be a part of Bernie Mev’s “Weave the World Together” campaign, where 100% of the net proceeds of the “Catwalk Braid” flat ($59.95) will be donated to and Sharsheret.

The campaign is coordinated by seventeen-year-old Leeron Carmi, daughter of Bernie Mev designer Rachel Carmi and CEO Itamar Carmi. As a company, Bernie Mev creates unique and stylish woven shoes. Inspired by the woven shoes, Leeron thought, “we can weave the world together,” and thus the Weave the World together campaign was established.

“We don’t say this often, but it’s time to take our shoes off and walk in those of others,” says Leeron. “We recognize the challenges people with cancer are facing on a daily basis and want to help them build stronger foundations to lead happier lives. Come help us Weave The World Together”.

Leeron chose to partner with and Sharsheret for the campaign because just as Bernie Mev weaves elastic strands to create the ultimate fit, the two organizations help create connections and support systems for people affected by cancer.

The shoes come in two color combinations, silver gray/rose-gold and pewter/fuchsia, and includes a pink charm bracelet designed specifically for the campaign.

As campaign coordinator Leeron says, “By staying connected and supporting each other we can weave the world together!”

You can purchase the shoes at Zappos.
